1) Scent Marketing – Scent is the most powerful memory tool and by the end of next
year there may not be a brand that doesn’t have a distinct smell. Retailers can learn
about successful scent marketing applications and get tips for integrating scents into
their own marketing mix.

2) Digital Media – The in-store marketing technique of the year with an 120 percent
increase over last year, digital media is predicted to see continued growth in 2007.
With interesting ties to scent marketing and new measurement tools – the digital age
in retail marketing is here. As a matter of fact, GlobalShop 2007, a leading retail
design and in-store marketing event, has dedicated a full day of activities to digital
signage.

3) Interactive-Activity – In today’s technology driven world, consumers want to
know as much as possible about a product before they buy it! With improved, more
reliable touch screen technology, shoppers can learn about and find the right bed,
car or bathroom design through digital in-store media. Retailers also are working to
integrate their online stores, catalogues and advertising to tie into the theme and feel
of in-store marketing and displays.

4) End Caps Just Beginning – The average shopper may not notice, but store aisles
are getting shorter. Retailers are hoping shorter aisles and more perimeters mean
bigger sales. Learn strategies for designing store floors to meet changing consumer
shopping habits and potentially increase sales.

5) The Great Outdoors – Is the mega mall headed for extinction? With 25 million sq.
ft. of retail space slated for development in 2007, and no enclosed, traditional
shopping malls planned, find out how retailers are hoping to leverage the great
outdoors.
